We will have a fair idea after 10 games where we stand. I think we could be a significantly different outfit with most of our strikers not doing the walking wounded routine.

just ignore all the over reactors ... we won't get relegated, and we probably won't get into the playoff's. we're only 3 games into the season so how anybody can form a conclusion to where we will be come the end of the season is just ridiculous.

Let's wait untill the window has closed, so we know who we have, and who we havn't got, the players are still getting to know each other, and we have a brand new manager.. all of these things suggest to me that we wait and see what happens over the coming months.. then by around christmas time , give a relevant prediction of how we're are going to do.

Blues fans are known for their moaning so i'm not suprised by all the doom and gloom,

we lost to Middlesbrough , away, who are one of the favourites for promotion, 3 days after playing a european game in portugal

Reality check needed for some people i think.

in Hughton we trust

i cant remember the last time we got a result at the riverside

1995 in the League Cup we got a 0-0 draw, then beat them 2-0 at St. Andrew's.
Last win though was 1977, 2-1. Francis got both goals I think.

Middlesbrough is definitely not a happy hunting ground for Blues.

I thought we beat them 2-1 in the early 80's at the old Ayresome park

Just checked and you're right - November 1980. I had forgotten all about that one.
Still over 30 years since we've won there though.

I think we'll finish in the play-offs. Europa or no Europa...

I was hoping for finishing in the play-offs, but we have yet to keep an away lead which is worrying, although we have only been leading twice away we didn't get even a point at either.

Will everyone stop moaning and groaning on this doom & gloom forum.

For god's sake let's give it a few games in - get all the injured players back / transfer window closed / see who if anybody we can get into the club and go forward from there.

Yes we all like seeing attractive winning football from the Blues but most people are so despondant.

Let's give CH some time and a half decent squad to pick from and get a team together that want to play in the blue shirt and get some decent results.

Do I think we'll get promotion - currently No but let's see what he can do in the coming months and you never know.

I for one am looking forward to seeing Malon King play - at times he can rip teams to shreds and what with Burke and Redmond providing the crosses who knows.

It was a good game in Funchal but lets not forget all the championship teams had a midweek game so we haven't played any more football than anyone else. So the reports of a tiring team are somewhat worrying

Agreed, but those teams didn't have a four and half hour round trip by plane and only getting back to Birmingham at 3.30 am on Friday morning. Add to that the thin squad and the injuries we have we can't be too surprised at the Middlesborough result.

I don't buy this tiredness excuse people keep trotting out

Most teams in the Championship have already played 1 more game than us than, (most have played a league cup game already)

The team may well have not got back till 3.30 Friday, but they would have had the rest of the day off, to recover, then a luxury coach trip up to Middlesbrough on the Saturday and then a relaxing stay in a hotel to continue recovering, all they had to do was be able to last and play a football game for 90 minutes....... nearly 60 hours after arriving back in the UK

How many Blues fans have come back from a 4 hr holiday flight and then gone back into work the next day on a busy production line or any other sort of hard work for an 8 hour day. These tiredness excuses means that players in some cases have probably earned as much in a week as some of the factory workers that pay good money to see 11 players who aren't fit enough to last 90 minutes less than 3 weeks into the season then

so are the people on the production line playing against another team trying to win a game of producing?

:LMAO: :LMAO:
